Introducing Content-Centric Collaboration

Anark is ready to introduce our exciting new feature set at the Introduction to Content-Centric Collaboration Webinar on December 10, 2025 - 1PM EST. Discover the next generation of secure, model-based collaboration and explore how you can now share, discuss, and mark up directly in the context of engineering content, including model-based CAD with new Hotkey options, legacy drawings, documents, images, and more.

Content-Centric Collaboration builds on Anark’s industry-leading technical data publication hub to deliver complex, heterogeneous CAD and PLM data through a fast, intuitive, web-based collaboration experience. It extends what our customers already do with 3D PDF, Anark Publish automation, unmatched Model-Based support, PLM Reference Integrations and the Anark Collaborate foundation that provides unmatched role-based access control for any type of legacy and modern content. Join us to understand how Anark can accelerate your innovation even more effectively.

3D Model-based Collaboration Experiences:

Content-centric collaboration includes new tools like real-time sectioning, graphical markups, and the ability to interrogate model-based characteristics (PMI, build features, etc.) to power advanced 3D model-based collaboration use cases.

Secure Access Polices and Sharing Flexibility:

With the addition of content-centric collaboration, Anark Collaborate now supports three primary access control models that offer unmatched continuity, flexibility and security for real-world collaboration scenarios including:

  1. External Access Control - Delegate content access rights based on external systems including PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.

  2. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) — Access control can be managed through organizational groups or Microsoft roles, automatically inherited from corporate SSO or other authentication systems.

  3. Local Access Control — Collaborate faster with content-level access control managed by content owners at the time that technical data is shared.

Advanced model-based CAD adapters deliver unmatched engineering data

Anark's advanced MBD CAD adapters produce fast-to-load, accessible content from the world's most complex engineering data, solving the hardest problems for companies like BETA Technologies. Anark adapters consistently outperform generic licensed adapters for precision translation, and handle difficult modeling features like complex cutting planes, composites, sheet metal layouts and more. Get the results that libraries and other standard toolkits cannot!

The Backstory

Activity-based collaboration is how it all started in 2015 with Anark's first technical data collaboration platform, bringing CAD and PLM agnostic technical data packages (TDP) to a web-based collaboration experience. This allowed manufacturers to say goodbye to disconnected email attachments, chat tool discussions, PowerPoint screenshot markup collections, file sharing apps, and task management project workspaces. With activity-based collaboration, data exchange and discussions stay connected to the digital thread.

Content-centric collaboration takes technical data collaboration into the future!  Anark has incorporated extensive feedback from customers and partners to ensure these new features go beyond 3D PDF and traditional TDP collaboration tools. By building content-centric collaboration on the world's leading CAD translation and TDP automation technology, Anark will power the next generation of model-based collaboration and manufacturing innovation.

Come and see the next generation of model-based collaboration with Anark and if you are busy, we will provide an on-demand version afterwards.
