Purdue Digital Enterprise Center Spring 2022 Meetings

April 12, 2022 Purdue University: Anark is excited to return to the Purdue Digital Enterprise Center meetings where Anark CEO Fred Waugh represented Anark in-person, to meet our Purdue and industry representatives partners.

The topic of this meeting was:

Digital Engineering Applications for Engineered to Order (ETO) Organizations

A Case Study at Naval Special Warfare Group FOUR (NSWG-4)

This focus for the day as summarized by Purdue is:  "The US Department of Defense, via the 2018 Digital Engineering Strategy, is transforming its engineering practices to digital engineering, incorporating technological innovations into an integrated, digital, model-based approach. Simultaneously, industry and academia continue to pace novel methods of digital engineering applications to improve processes and integration of PLM tenets. "

Anark is closely working with a number of the defense services to achieve the goals of this strategy.  This trend of 3Di creation is accelerating with defense services requiring technical data be validated and delivered using 3D PDF, an approach that Anark pioneered 10+ years back.  The digitization of the U.S. Department of Defense continues, as does Anark's ability to support these type of initiatives.

The Digital Manufacturing Institute (MxD) had just selected Anark to demonstrate a visionary solution for supplier collaboration on a project that is being executed throughout 2023. This project seeks to modernize acquisition and supply chain activities to improve acquisition and production lead times for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)

Anark and Purdue have been partnering since early 2018 when Anark provided automated publishing and collaboration software and training materials that enabled university students and professional education program participants with access to best-in-class tools, technology and course-ware materials, especially for Model Based Enterprise related activities.  We look forward to our continued engagement with Purdue.
