Anark 2020 Recap – Challenges, Perseverance & Digital Transformation Success

Dear Customers, Partners, and Friends,

There is much to reflect upon as we look back at this extraordinarily challenging year, and there is also much to be hopeful and optimistic about as we focus our thoughts on the coming new year.

As normal in-person interaction and engagement were stymied for most of 2020, we’ve seen a “new normal” emerge, and digital engagement and collaboration have become common. As a result, companies have accelerated their digital strategies and are implementing innovative new processes and solutions to provide secure, traceable data access and effective enterprise-wide collaboration from virtually any device or location.

Anark had the privilege this year to help many of our customers with their Digital Transformation strategies, and we’d like to share the success stories of three of those customers: GE Power, Cohu, and Boeing. Each one is an inspirational example of how effective digitalization can deliver greater efficiencies throughout engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and field service operations.

If you are investigating or considering ideas to inform your major digitalization initiatives, please take a few minutes to see how Anark is helping customers embrace this digital acceleration by solving difficult challenges and providing a concrete path forward for how customers can implement and connect the digital thread.

GE Power’s Digital Supply Chain Collaboration Transformation Webinar

“Our error rate has been coming down by a significant amount every year…with Anark our error rate has gone down to 5% to 10% which is much lower than it used to be.”

-Kena Yokoyama, Engineering Manager for Product Definition, GE Gas Power

“Oracle has a comprehensive product catalog of course but the integration with Anark is a critical integration that is transparent but adds value.  It’s a large investment in cloud technology but about digital transformation – bringing information from our history and building a platform and foundation for our future.”

-Craig Halterman, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Cohu

“Digital Transformation is spreading across industry and government. We see great value in Model Based Enterprise & the Digital Thread as it moves across Boeing and our strategic value stream. It is more than an IT system upgrade and includes process redesign and data standards. As we go forward to create, develop, produce and support future products, we are making sure we have the best tools in place. Boeing has a great partnership with the Anark team!”

Ed Dreyer. Senior Manager – Connected Factory and Digital Manufacturing, Boeing
