Fred Waugh

Chief Executive Officer

Fred Waugh is a software veteran with a strong focus on building organizations that combine a customer-first focus with operational excellence. His career spans leadership roles in marketing, product management and business development from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Fred joined Anark from PTC, where he led marketing for PTC’s cloud-native PLM products. As Senior Vice President of Marketing for Arena Solutions, he accelerated revenue and profit growth, leading to Arena’s successful acquisition by PTC. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Invodo, SailPoint, Convio and IBM. He has been an instrumental leader in multiple successful exits, including an IPO.

Fred earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Scott Collins

CTO and Executive Vice President of Product Development

Scott Collins is an Anark co-founder and CTO with over 25 years of experience in enterprise software and solutions. He directs the company’s strategic product direction and associated engineering efforts, coordinating Anark’s strategy with the technical implementation of the Anark Core intelligent information management (IIM) software platform.

Scott works works directly with Anark’s top enterprise manufacturing customers to inform the company’s product roadmap, ensuring industry-leading software and solutions for supply chain, manufacturing, and field service organizations.

Prior to founding Anark, Scott served as a technical project leader and engineer for the world’s leading manufacturer of telemetry-based meteorological instrument systems, now a division of Lockheed Martin. As a liason for scientists at NOAA, NCAR, and NASA in the US, as well as many government agencies worldwide, Scott coordinated the pre-production engineering and initial customer systems deployments for multi-million dollar manufacturing contracts.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Brett Heinrichs

CFO and Vice President of Operations

Brett has over 24 years of finance, operations, and services delivery experience within the enterprise software and professional services segments, with a strong focus and background within the aerospace manufacturing industry. Brett brings a customer focused approach to operations, working internally and directly with many of Anark’s major customers to ensure Anark is positioned to meet their diverse needs and objectives. Prior to his current role, Brett led Anark’s professional services group as its Vice President of Client Services.

Brett came to Anark in 2004 from Refinery, a top 10 independent web agency that he co-founded back in 1994. He served as Chairman and President until Refinery was successfully sold in 2007. Brett also served 3 years with Arthur Andersen’s consulting and enterprise group and was Vice President of Finance for Cornerstone Private Capital, LLC.

Brett earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University, graduating magna cum laude in 1994.

Patrick Dunfey

Vice President of Marketing and Sales Enablement

Patrick is an accomplished marketing and sales enablement professional who knows that customers are at the heart of every great innovation. He focuses on driving customer delight and business growth through aligned Product-Marketing-Sales programs. He uses digital systems and data-driven approaches to understand, measure and deliver success, resulting in unparalleled customer experiences and value.

Patrick has 20 years of enterprise software expertise, with specialties in CAD, PLM, ERP, AR/VR and IoT. Prior to joining Anark, Patrick developed and taught a business course on XR value strategy, helping companies identify and realize value using virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. During 14 years at PTC, a leading provider of product development software, Patrick led teams responsible for the design, build and launch of an award-winning, state-of-the-art technology experience center resulting in 5X customer meeting growth, and 66% close rates on those meetings; he led the development of a new IoT sales enablement strategy to map business value to enabling technology contributing to 52% YoY IoT revenue growth; and met with over 1000 companies, ranging from SMB to the Fortune 100, to help bridge the gap between technology and customer value.

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Randy Ochs

Vice President Business Development

Randy Ochs has over 30 years of international experience in sales & business development of enterprise software such as Visual Product Communication & Collaboration, MCAD, PLM and Supply Chain Management solutions for Fortune 500 customers across several industries including: Aero, Auto, AEC, GIS, Oil & Gas, Discreet MFG & Consumer Goods.

Randy has held executive management positions at some of the foremost producers of 3D CAD, Digital Design Communication and PLM software suites at such companies as zSpace, Nvidia, Right Hemisphere, Actify, Agile Software, PTC/InPart Design, Autodesk and IBM/CADAM.

In his role at Anark, Randy is responsible for leading the company’s Business Development and Strategic Alliances activities. Prior to Anark, Randy has consulted with several International Start-ups in driving their Business Development and Sales efforts.

Randy earned a degree in Computer Science from Hancock College and serves on multiple advisory boards including as Industry Advisor for Purdue University’s Department of Computer Graphics Technology.
