Opportunity

Anark is looking for a proven and motivated “go-to-market” leader to develop and execute a high impact marketing and sales enablement plan that drives rapid adoption and revenue growth of the company’s full product suite.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record growing customer adoption and revenue from product launch through multi-year growth stages, and experience implementing full-funnel customer acquisition strategies that support both conventional on-premise and Cloud-SaaS based deployment modes.

The candidate will cultivate the Anark brand and develop messaging frameworks and campaigns that effectively position the company’s unique capabilities and value for use across multiple channels and targeting multiple buyer profiles.  The candidate will ensure our direct sales team and partners have the support resources and content required to drive predictable and repeatable sales growth.

A complete understanding of the mix of marketing, sales, customer and operational dynamics that drive success is essential  Using a strong data driven approach clear and objective performance metrics to create a digital centric, agile strategic and tactical set of marketing and sales enablement programs to optimize the return on the Company’s marketing investment.

This role requires leadership and management of the company’s product marketing, marcom, and sales enablement functions, effective collaboration with the executive team and sales organization, as well as a direct, hands-on approach to understanding customer requirements and drivers in order to ensure messaging and outreach that clearly differentiate Anark’s solutions within a dynamic competitive environment.

As a member of the Anark senior leadership team, the role will be heavily involved in overall company and commercial strategy and will be expected to present at board meetings as well as engage and support major strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and accountability and to provide project management for all marketing deliverables and outcomes, including prospect outreach, lead generation/maturation, sales collateral, virtual/onsite conferences, SEM/SEO, e-mail campaigns and a comprehensive digital marketing initiative.
  • Develop and evolve the Anark brand and messaging frameworks and campaigns
  • Track and optimize performance at each stage of the entire marketing and sales funnel.
  • Lead, grow, and inspire our current small marketing team to exceed expectations as they grow in their respective career paths
  • Optimize current inbound/outbound marketing processes and strategies for Sales, Channel Partners and Customer Success.
  • Leverage automation and data analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Manage agency and marketing service provider relationships (e.g., PR) to ensure that they meet/exceed measurable deliverables to impact growth.
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy and plan for initial and future products – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, social media and PR.
  • Gather and analyze competitive data, participate in “voice of the customer” activities, operational metrics, and win/loss analysis.
  • Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness.

Required Knowledge and Talents

  • Demonstrated results in the major marketing domains (lead gen, customer retention, go-to-market growth strategies/results, product marketing, conference/trade shows, content creation/strategy, marketing automation, SEO/SEM/Social, competitive positioning analytics, etc.)
  • CRM experience and core competencies of marketing/sales funnel KPIs
  • Expert proficiency in project management, process development, cross functional collaboration and team development
  • Self-driven and results-oriented to achieve corporate objectives and targets
  • “Can do” attitude that is service/sales-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills supported by strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong background in SaaS (preferably in PLM, ERP, or MES focused on manufacturing segment)
  • Established leadership and mentoring skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. Graduate degree desirable
  • 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role as CMO, VP, or Director
  • Strong references from your previous CEO or CMO
  • Deep operational experience in PLM, ERP, and/or MES segments serving manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred.
