Purdue Digital Enterprise Center Meetings – Spring 2020

Purdue Digital Enterprise Center Meetings – Spring 2020

Purdue has decided to postpone the symposium and plan to reschedule as soon as possible or execute a virtual event with their partners.

Anark is honored to support the Purdue Digital Enterprise Center where we have been bringing our expertise to help frame the importance of establishing, and using a digital thread in standard business practices.  According to Nate Hartman, Dauch Family Professor of Advanced Manufacturing and Head of Computer Graphics Technology,  “While all supporting technologies are production ready, significant challenges confront companies as they attempt to stitch the necessary components together, revise employee workflows, and adapt organizational structures and incentives to realize the available benefits.”   The Purdue Digital Enterprise Center is supported by the leaders of industry looking to solve these difficult challenges and provide concrete ideas and suggestions for how to implement and use the digital thread.

Even with the delay of the in-person event,  Anark also continues to remotely support the Digital Manufacturing Testbed that includes the Anark Core Platform.  This is a flagship demonstration and learning hub for Industry 4.0 that creates a nexus of technical advancement and translation, workforce education, and economic development.

Anark and Purdue have been partnering since early 2018 when Anark provided automated Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) publishing and collaboration software and training materials that enabled university students and professional education program participants with access to best-in-class tools, technology and course-ware materials.  We look forward to our continued support of Purdue.
