The ShipTech meetings March 26-27, 2020 in Charleston, SC are sponsored by the Office of Naval Research’s (ONR’s) Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program and this event targets the domestic shipbuilding industry, its supplier base, U.S. Navy Program Offices, and Navy-sponsored shipbuilding research programs. ShipTech is a forum to exchange information on the developments generated by Navy ManTech through its Centers of Excellence, as well as the related initiatives conducted by the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP). Anark is an active participant in NSRP which is focused on reducing acquisition and total ownership costs of naval ships while enhancing the competitiveness of the U.S. shipbuilding industry.
Anark has been supporting NSRP and an assortment of Digital Shipbuilding activities working directly with industry and government partners to deploy the Anark Core Intelligent Information Management (IIM) platform. Anark’s shipbuilding customers are able to easily transform, publish and manage critical engineering, manufacturing and operational data as powerful, role-specific technical content and connected digital workflows that can be consumed on virtually any desktop, mobile or wearable device. This empowers knowledge workers along the shipbuilding Digital Thread to communicate and collaborate more effectively and securely throughout manufacturing, supply-chain and maintenance operations.
