Stephen Collins
President and CEO

Stephen Collins is a co-founder of Anark and an 18 year industry veteran within the high-tech, entertainment, and enterprise 3D market sectors. He has extensive sales, marketing, business development and private equity financing experience.

Stephen has guided Anark through its evolution from innovative 3D game development studio to an emerging market leader with advanced and practical 3D and data management solutions that enable customers to cost effectively realize the full potential of their CAD design data and other 3D graphics assets via a wide variety of collaboration, communication and visualization applications.

Prior to founding Anark, Stephen worked for market leaders such as Xerox, Tandy’s Business Systems Division, and Microage, where he consistently exceeded sales goals and company expectations.

Stephen earned his BA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1989, where he majored in History and minored in Marketing.

 

Scott Collins
Senior Vice President of Product Development

Scott Collins is an Anark co-founder and has 18 years of software design, development, and management experience, particularly in advanced numerical methods, distributed real-time computing, and 3D CAD and PLM related technologies.

Scott directs the company's product development efforts, is one of the principal architects of both the Anark Media Platform and Anark Core Platform, and he is responsible for successfully securing multiple technology patents for Anark. He works closely with Anark’s major manufacturing customers to support enterprise solution engagements and to inform the company’s product roadmap to ensure effective and practical solutions to their 3D product data management and visualization needs.

Prior to founding Anark, Scott served as an engineer for VIZ Manufacturing, historically one of the world's leading manufacturers of radio-sondes. He served as a project lead and technical facilitator for multi-year, multi-million dollar manufacturing contracts with the National Weather Service and worked at length with the US Government as well as projects for the governments of United Kingdom, Brazil and Turkey.

Scott earned his BS in Computer Science from University of North Carolina Charlotte with significant research in discrete mathematics and language theory, where he simultaneously served as a software engineer and lecturer on such topics as microcomputers and operating systems.

 

Brett Heinrichs
Vice President of Client Services

Brett has over 17 years of experience in the aviation industry coupled with over 13 years in business development, interactive media, application development and serving global 500 customers. Brett came to Anark in 2004 from Refinery, a top 10 independent interactive web agency that he co-founded back in 1994. He served as Chairman and President until Refinery was sold in 2007.

Besides bringing a wealth of aviation knowledge and experience to the team, Brett specializes in building successful account teams that ensure our clients receive the quality and care they expect. Brett also serves as a senior consultant on projects for Boeing, Cessna and Pratt & Whitney helping to understand our customers’ needs and to design solutions that achieve their goals.

Prior to Anark, Brett served 3 years with Arthur Andersen’s consulting and enterprise group from 1994 to 1997 and was Vice President, Finance for Cornerstone Private Capital, LLC from 1997 to 2000. Brett graduated magna cum laude from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Accounting.

 

Sharon Young
Vice President of Finance

Sharon Young has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience within the software, services, and non-profit sectors. She has extensive operational and financial management expertise, including forecasting and budget management, accounting, audit implementation and oversight, and tax and regulatory compliance.

Sharon joined Anark in 2005 and was appointed Vice President of Finance in June of 2008. She is responsible for managing the company’s finance, accounting, and operations.

Prior to joining Anark, Sharon successfully served in a variety of senior finance and operational positions with organizations such as CADNET, MARC, and the Patton Management Group, a division of Bracknel Corporation.

Sharon earned her BS in Business Administration from Minot State Teachers College, ND.
